Throughout my life, I’ve always been interested in cars. I enjoyed working on internal combustion vehicles as a hobby with my friends and as a summer job, but as much of a pinnacle of engineering they are, they are terribly complicated and toxic for the environment (ie: the air you’re breathing).
Thinking big at the time (Grade 10 High School student), I decided that I wanted to make an electric car. Not just a bike or a trike or a small city car, but a fully fledged, real car. After a lot of reading on the internet, I decided on a first generation (B5 platform) Audi A4. My A4 was equipped with a 1.8t coupled to a 5 speed manual, all wheel drive, and everything besides leather seats. In all, a great car for my purposes.
As far as I can tell, this is the only electric A4 build on the internet. The project is ongoing as I can always find something to improve. Since I started this website after the conversion, there may be some gaps but don’t hesitate to contact me or leave a comment with any questions about the project or electric cars in general.
